Alive and Still Kicking

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, humans and extra-terrestrials, I'm proud to announce I've finished my exams and am back here, alive and well. Suffice to say that I'm still alive, although that last paper packed enough punch to knock out a full-grown woolly mammoth.

Ancient elephants aside, I've now ended my 3rd semester and will soon be into my last semester. Not bad. Time flies.

Oh yes. And my generous friends celebrated my birthday last week. Paiseh sama dia orang, because somehow they still managed to find the time despite my birthday being stuck in the middle of exam week. I really owe you guys for this one. Thanks a million. Big thank you. Bigger than that furry elephant above.

While I return to working on the tiny vegetable patch, let's hope mesa classmates and I didn't screw up any of our papers, although the last one was one hell of a mess. Mess or not, it's our holiday, so let's not worry about this until we really really really have to.

Ahem

Yes I know it's exam time and I should not be writing too much crap here, but it's my birthday and I'm declaring half day public holiday, tax free. 'Tax free' meaning I do not study tax, not you not having to pay your tax. The day when I can say you don't have to pay tax seems a bit far away for the time being. That said, that's it. :-)

Siput Again

Because we missed the beach and Ah Faiye did not get the chance to join us last time, we went back to the same spot to dig for clams. This time there were less people but more clams. Maybe because the clams were free after submitting their income tax returns on April 30. Just a guess.

Met at INTI at 7am because we did not want to get fried by the sun while digging. Went straight to Teluk Kumbar after that. After digging we visited both the Snake Temple and Than Hsiang. Wesak Day so it was crowded. Very 老热. It was something like a half day trip which ended in Faiye's apartment. We went there because we had nothing else to do.

Baru sampai. Only 7 something but surprisingly bright.

THIS is how to park your car in INTI during a public holiday. So syok.

Wah. Very nice. The moral of this story is since you live in Penang Island, you might as well go to the beach as you are surrounded by it. You know uploading the photos means doing a lot of formatting and repositioning. My mouse... the type you connect to a computer, suddenly ki siao. So I did all the work using the touchpad on my laptop. I cannot feel my fingers already. So I better stop before my numb fongers stwrt makumg spelling misyakes.

Kucing

The first time a stray cat knew how to come into the garden, but did not know how to go out. After chasing it around several times, I thought I could lead it outside with a hand phone light, but it just laid there and ignored me. So I took a photo of it.

Since the bored cat ignored me, I also ignored it. It left the next day. Maybe it suddenly realized it could squeeze out through the gaps in the gate. I know I sampat. One cat also can blog. But humour me lah.
